In today's tough market, a home needs to stand out in order to sell faster and at a higher price. The Home Curator's Resale-Ready service transforms a house into a buyer's dream home by enhancing the home's best assets while minimizing imperfections. An appealing kitchen and bathroom are key to selling for top dollar, but improvements to these rooms can be costly. For example, this bathroom has an outdated gold-framed shower stall with potentially unattractive brown stripes adorning the glass enclosure. To avoid the cost of installing a new shower stall, The Home Curator suggested playing off the gold frame by replacing a tiny medicine cabinet with a gold accented wall mirror. Then, the walls were painted with warm brown tones to coordinate with the brown stripes on the shower enclosure. Hip burnished copper replaced bright gold bathroom accessories. A worn, stained white floor was replaced with do-it-yourself adhesive stone-look tiles. The result--an updated and elegant bathroom for $300!
 This kitchen had outdated shiny gold cabinet hardware, a worn floor and taste specific country wallpaper (to see "before" pictures go to the "portfolio" link on upper right). Big pluses were the white cabinets and neutral counters. The Resale-Ready plan recommended painting the walls a soothing gray, installing brushed nickel hardware and a dark gray floor. The result--a kitchen with a sophisticated and serene vibe.
